Christmas preparations

Cu obrăjorii îmbujoraţi şi cu mâinile ascunse în buzunare, copiii intră veseli în şcoală. Sunt primele zile de iarnă şi, deşi nu am avut parte încă de zăpadă, vremea rece ne promite că nu va dura mult până vom ieşi la sanie.

With red cheeks and with their hands hidden in the pockets, the children enter the school building. These are the first days of winter, and even if we haven’t had snow yet, the cold weather tells us that in short time we will go sleigh riding.

Pentru a ne păstra in atmosfera jucăuşă şi pentru a ne pregăti din timp pentru sărbătorile de iarnă, am agăţat decoraţiuni de iarnă prin săli, pe geamuri şi uşi, am împodobit brăduţul, i-am scris Moşului scrisori şi nu în ultimul rând ne-am pregătit pentru Serbarea de Crăciun.

To keep ourselves in the playful mood and to prepare for the winter holidays, we hang Christmas decorations in the classrooms, on windows and on doors, we decorated the Christmas tree and we wrote letters to Father Christmas, and last but certainly not least we prepared a Christmas Concert.

Copiii sunt întotdeauna fericiţi să se pregătească pentru serbări, iar când au aflat că vom juca sceneta Naşterii Mântuitorului au fost cu adevarat entuziasmaţi. Dând dovadă de multă responsabilitate, şi-au ales rolurile, au învăţat replicile, au pregatit decorul, iar ca element surpriză, copiii, împreuna cu Delia Bondar au pregătit şi un dans modern. Mai avem doar puţine zile la dispoziţie până vom fi pe scena căminului cultural. Uraţi-ne success!

The children always love to prepare for concerts, and they were truly excited when they heard we were going to have the Nativity play for the Christmas concert. With much responsibility, they picked their roles, they learnt their parts, they prepared the background, and as a surprise element, the children, together with Delia Bondar prepared a modern dance. We have just few days, until we will perform on the stage of the Cultural House. Wish us luck!
