Summer Camp 2015!
Summer School 24-29 August 2015 -Remeţi-

Avem lucruri minunate de impărtăşit cu voi! Tocmai ne-am întors dintr-o tabără de vară!â.

We have great news to share with you! We just got back from a summer camp!
Multumim în mod special echipei de studenţi de la King’s William College din Insula Man care au făcut posibilă această săptămână de tabără, şi mai ales celor care au participat trup şi suflet cu noi: Erin, Rachel şi Ben.
We especially want to give thanks to the Charity Challenge Team from King’s William College, Isle of Man, who made this week possible, and particularly to Erin, Rachel and Ben who were there with us heart and soul.
Mulţumim tutor însoţitorilor care pentru o săptămană au “adoptat” cei 30 de copii minunaţi.
We would like to thank all staff members who “adopted” the 30 lovely children for this week.
Am aşteptat această vacanţă de vară mai mult ca niciodată. Şi asta pentru că am organizat o săptămână de Şcoală de vară cu totul deosebită, o săptămână în care învăţarea căpătat noi forme, mult mai aproape de sufletul copiilor. Această şcoală de vară s-a desfăşurat departe de casele noastre, între munţii răcoroşi din Apuseni şi în compania unor copii şi însoţitori noi, care au devenit în cele din urmă prieteni dragi.
We have waited this summer break more than ever. The reason for this is because we had organized a very special Summer School, a week where learning got new dimensions, closer to children’s souls. This Summer School took place far away from our homes, in the fresh Apuseni Mountains, in the company of new children and staff, who in the end became our friends.
Deşi cu o săptămână înainte ploaia părea să nu se mai termine şi temperaturile scăzute ameninţau o toamnă mult prea harnică, totuşi în timpul pe care l-am petrecut la Remeţi nu am văzut nici un nor şi ne-am bucurat din plin de soare şi căldură.
Even though a week before the rain seemed to be endless, and the low temperatures threatened an early autumn, the time we spent in Remeti couldn’t be any better, we had no clouds and we enjoyed the sun and warmth.
Activităţile pe care le-am desfăşurat în această tabără au fost menite să îi ajute pe copii să se pregătească pentru noul an şcolar care bate la uşă. Astfel, am acordat un timp special abilităţilor matematice şi celor de scris- citit. Însă pentru că am fost în tabără, aceste abilităţi au fost consolidate prin activităţi creative, distractive şi relaxante, iar la final le-am adunat pe toate în albume şi planşe pe care apoi le-am adus colegilor şi profesorilor din cele trei şcoli din care am avut copii participanţi: Şcoala Primară nr 1 Girişu de Criş, jud Bihor; Şcoala Gimnazială nr 1 Tărian, jud Bihor şi Şcoala Gimnazială nr 1 Suceagu, jud Cluj.
The activities we had on this camp were meant to help the children get ready for the new school year. We had special time dedicated to improving Maths, reading and writing abilities, but since we were on a camp we worked on these skills through creative, fun and relaxing methods, and in the end we gathered all of our work in scrap-books and posters which the children took back to their schools:
Şcoala Primară nr 1 Girişu de Criş, jud Bihor; Şcoala Gimnazială nr 1 Tărian, jud Bihor şi Şcoala Gimnazială nr 1 Suceagu, jud Cluj.
Printre activităţile iubite de copii se numără: drumeţiile, jocurile cu apă şi în piscină, traseul cu obstacole, căutarea comorii, realizarea albumelor şi multe altele.
Among the children’s favorite activities we can mention: hikings, water games and swimming pools games, obstacle course, treasure hunt, working on the scrap-books and many more.

Mulţumim de asemenea tuturor celor care au donat pentru acestă cauză şi apreciem fiecare efort care a contribuit la succesul taberei.
We also thank all who donated for this cause and we appreciate each effort made for this very special and successful Summer School.
